I have worked in both the health industry as a nurse, and the horticultural industry as a Kitchen Gardener at Heide Museum of Modern Art for many years. I was privileged to be a co-creator of the Healing Garden at Heide with Openwork, thanks to Shine On Foundation, where the garden was designed as a place of respite and wellbeing for all.

Since 2021 I brought these skills to Recreation in Aged Care. I have a heart for seniors and those who need assistance to access the great outdoors. Connecting to nature can bring meaning, enjoyment, relaxation, and social connection. The benefits of stress reduction, social connection, and improved mental and physical health are what motivates me to share Therapeutic Horticulture.
