What happens when two nature-based disciplines come together to explore their shared values and unique perspectives?

Join us for an engaging conversation between experts in therapeutic horticulture and permaculture as they explore the principles that connect these complementary fields. While therapeutic horticulture focuses on supporting health and wellbeing through meaningful engagement with plants and gardens, permaculture offers a holistic approach to designing systems that care for people, the earth and future generations.

Together, our speakers will reflect on the values and practices that unite these disciplines, including caring for people and place, working with natural systems, fostering resilience, designing inclusive spaces, and strengthening communities through connection with nature.

Through conversation and shared experiences, we’ll explore:

– How people, plants and place are deeply interconnected

– What it means to work with nature rather than against it

– Designing gardens that support both human wellbeing and ecological health

– The importance of diversity, inclusion and community in creating resilient systems

– How thoughtful, small-scale actions can lead to meaningful and lasting change

Whether you’re a therapeutic horticulture practitioner, allied health professional, educator, permaculture practitioner, community gardener or simply passionate about nature-based wellbeing, this webinar offers an opportunity to broaden your perspective and discover how these two fields can inspire and enrich one another.

Join us for an inspiring conversation about creating healthy people, thriving communities and regenerative landscapes—together.
