Come join our Spring meet up at GFS Perth, and meet your THA host, Kath Smith.
Friendship Central is a bold new community hub being developed in the Swan Valley and it’s unlike anything else in Perth. Part café, part permaculture garden, part marketplace, part learning environment, it’s a place where people of all ages can connect, grow, contribute, and belong.
GFS Perth CEO Alison Gilchrist, will meet with visitors to share the vision and explain the future prospects for this permaculture initiative. Come and see this venture from its beginnings!
Friendship Central is the next chapter of GFS Perth (Growing Friends Society), a Western Australian charity with more than 140 years of history creating opportunities for connection, community, and belonging.
GFS Perth believe that communities flourish when people of all ages and backgrounds have somewhere to gather, something meaningful to do, and someone to do it with.
Everyone is welcome to attend and connect with others who are passionate about the healing power of plants, people, and place.
Cost is free but by purchasing a coffee or a cake from the Friendly Fig Café you are directly supporting with work of GFS Perth.
Parking: On site vehicle access and parking scares are integrated directly into the new site for visitors exploring the cafe, gardens, and marketplace.
