18th October – South Australia Meetup | ECH Henley Beach site

Join Dean and Melanie for a guided walk through the ECH Henley Beach site. Dean will provide an overview of 3 program aspects – the community garden, Day Program therapeutic horticulture activities and the shared garden space between our Wellness Centres, Supported Accommodation and Day Program. Be inspired by the spaces, share stories about how they are used to benefit individuals and groups.

Please bring an idea to share! Often we find ourselves in an opportunistic moment, either one-on-one or in a group setting – how do you make the most of the chance to inject energy, settle a person, immerse in nature, or do something garden related? Please share on paper to pass on knowledge, or do a quick overview to the group, or bring a creation to share.

We’ll then move on to the Henley Beach Hotel for a bevvie or two and some food, watching the waves (and maybe even a beach walk).
