Amelia is a horticultural therapist who uses the transformative power of gardens, plants, and gardening to support clients navigating anxiety, depression, eating disorders, PTSD, and grief. She collaborates directly with clients at their homes to design healing garden spaces and meaningful gardening practices.
At the Royal Children’s Hospital, Amelia delivers garden therapy within a dedicated team, providing restorative nature experiences both in the hospital gardens and at the bedsides of children and their families undergoing treatment.
For over a decade, she has specialised in Focusing-oriented Psychotherapy in her Carlton North private practice, offering individual therapy to adults. Amelia holds a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy and a Diploma of Transpersonal Counselling. She also co-facilitates the Therapeutic Horticulture Australia Peer Supervision Group and serves on THA’s Events Sub-committee.
