Psychology + Nature
Kristy combines her psychology background with nutrition knowledge and therapeutic horticulture practices to work with clients and services to overcome burnout, stress and mood concerns. She has a particular interest in the concept of belonging to place and loves how nutrition and growing your own food can foster a deep sense of connection to place to support our wellbeing.
Kristy is the founder of In My Mother’s Kitchen, a holistic wellbeing service providing individual psychology, therapeutic gardening for individuals and groups, mindful eating program for individuals and small groups, and nutritional and lifestyle psychology education for community and organisations around the Sunshine Coast (Jinibara and Gubbi Gubbi Country).
Kristy has lived, loved and grown food in both the South Island of New Zealand and Australia (Jinibara Country) and regularly spends her time across both these countries.
