Summary : The need for research to provide tangible recommendations for Evidence-based Design drove this Thesis. The analysis found that ideally, a restorative setting provides a choice of spaces, set within lush natural landscapes that encourage multi-sensory stimulation. These qualities constitute a practical foundation for restorative green-space design, onto which discussions with client, user and context are built.
