Summary:
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding for supports and services to almost 500,000 Australians who have permanent or significant physical and emotional disability.
The NDIS funds a range of supports and services which may include education, employment, social participation, independence, living arrangements and health and wellbeing.
Within the therapeutic horticulture field, we provide services and support for participants to complete garden-based activities to achieve many personal goals, including social participation and wellness.
Through my presentation I will share ways to provide therapeutic horticulture to participants of the NDIS that assist to pursue their goals and aspirations.
I will also discuss requirements as a provider within NDIS, understanding the NDIS Pricing Arrangements to charge for services and engaging with participants and organisations.
