MIFGS Workshops : Propagating from Cuttings with Shani Shafrir | 28th March : 11:00 – 1:00pm

Shani Shafrir, founder of Well Grown, a therapeutic horticulture practitioner working with groups across the community services sector.

Creating and facilitating inclusive, welcoming spaces that support wellbeing, connection and a sense of belonging through gardening and nature-based programs. Shani is passionate about embedding therapeutic horticulture in everyday community settings, making it accessible, flexible and responsive to all involved.

All ages, kid friendly workshop that offers a relaxed and enjoyable approach to learning about propagating plants from cuttings.

This is a fantastic method of duplicating existing plants to create (free) new plants for home, to gift or share with the community.

Participants will be learning about plant structure, appropriate soil composition and how to tend to a cutting at home.

Each participant has the opportunity to take a planted cutting home with them.

Shani’s workshop runs in 30 minute cycles from 11:00am to 1:00pm so drop in anytime to join us. You will find us at the Beyond Blue site “B57”.
