Sophie (she/her) is a qualified teacher, trainer and horticulturist who has worked in nature-based learning for over 25 years. Sophie worked at the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne as an Educator for over 20 years. Throughout this time, she shared her love of plants and nature with people of all ages from young children to senior citizens. She recently moved into the TAFE sector where she works as a teacher of horticulture in community and social inclusion. Sophie believes that spending time in nature, in particular gardening is vital for our both physical and mental wellbeing and that gardening is one of life’s pure joys. Sophie is available for consultation, workshops, community presentations, program development and education sessions.
