Wired for Nature is a consultancy business combining the skills of Leigh McGaghey, landscape architect, with psychologists and diversional therapists to create social & therapeutic horticulture programs & education, for individuals, community groups and organisations.
Leigh also consults on, and designs, therapeutic and restorative gardens for individuals, group housing, aged care, and residential housing projects. This work spans the creation of person-centred, treatment-specific natural spaces for individuals’ engagement through to providing open space/landscape assessment reports for property managers of aged care, disability and and residential housing for the purposes of integrating therapeutic garden spaces or programs.
Leigh and her colleagues provide industry training and education workshops which are held periodically in Sydney, and by arrangement, in regional NSW. Workshop themes include:

| Working with Allied Health Professionals – What the Landscape Designer/Horticulturist Needs to Know;
| Working with Psychologists to Create Treatment-Specific Nature Engagement Strategies;

Leigh has qualifications in landscape architecture, adult education and health & leisure programming. She is a full member of Therapeutic Horticulture Australia and a member of the Australian Recreational Therapy Association.
