Bio:
Justin Calverley is a qualified horticulturalist with over 30 yrs experience. He runs his own Horticultural Consultation Design and Education business, Sensory Gardens. Justin‘s approach is to encourage interaction and understanding of the natural world’s systems via a mix of theory and practice, which see his clients and students gain hands-on skills and knowledge. He has experience in all aspects of Horticulture with a specific passion for food production and specialises in fruit production. Justin teaches many courses but by far the most popular are his Intro to Therapeutic Horticulture and Complete Urban Farmer courses. Both these courses explore industry skills which has seen some students be inspired to make Horticulture their life-long career. Justin is a regular broadcaster on 3RRR’s “Breakfasters” and ABC “Evenings”. He is also the author of “The Urban Farmer”. He is a go-to expert for the media and in high demand on the presentation and public speaking circuit.
