August 25 – Education and training pathways in Therapeutic Horticulture – what are the opportunities?

Delivered on: Thursday 25 August 2022 / Time: 7pm – 8pm AEST

Presenters: John Rayner ( and Leigh McGaghey (, Education Sub Committee members. Education and training in TH tend to reflect a country’s level of recognition and advancement of TH as a defined occupation. In Australia there are currently no specialised accredited education and training programs to support TH, at least those recognised under the Government-regulated Australian Qualifications Framework. However, there are various private providers and training organisations offering a range of short courses and workshops in TH; and there are some international training opportunities for online studies. This webinar will provide an overview of the Australian, and the key [English-language] international offerings, together with insights into developing further education and training opportunities in Australia for the future. There will be time for questions from participants at the end. This webinar is free for THA members. JOIN NOW
