I work for a large public health network in Melbourne in the various roles of gardens and grounds coordinator, horticultural therapist and nurse. I have been working in healthcare settings since 1993 and over the past 20 years have established horticultural therapy programs and therapeutic gardens throughout Austin Health and continue to manage these.
I have also undertaken a Churchill Fellowship to research the development, use and management of therapeutic gardens within healthcare settings. I have also worked as a guest presenter on ABC’s Gardening Australia showcasing stories on therapeutic horticulture and landscapes.
